On behalf of I Need A Lighthouse, Inc. we extend our thanks to everyone who participated in the 4^th Annual Beacon of Hope 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Memory Walk Sunday at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. With over 450 participants and volunteers this year’s Beacon of Hope was a meaningful and fun event in support of a great cause – preventing teen suicide. Your support of I Need A Lighthouse, Inc. allows us to continue our work to prevent the tragedy of teen suicide in our community. Lighthouse’s mission isto significantly reduce the loss and suffering from teen and young adult depression, suicide, and suicidal behavior through educational programs and community partnerships. Last year we reached over 4,500 local high school students with our educational presentations!
